Hello! My name is Peter Corless.

I lost my college friend Molly to suicide in 1985.

That was 21 years ago, and it still makes me reflect on what might have happened had she lived. What the crucial difference between life and death might have been.

For my respect of Molly's memory, in 2006, I'll be taking part in the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Overnight Walk.

Myself and thousands of other walkers are attempting to raise the funds for the awareness and prevention of suicide.

Your support shall make the crucial difference in the life of a young man or woman. Your generous spirit can save and sooth and balm a heart-torn soul. Your compassionate gift will create hope for others.

Likewise, having served in the Fire Department for many years I can attest to several suicide attempts and also the aftermath of suicide efforts as we responded to the medical emergency scene.
