On behalf of all of us at the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, our thoughts are with you and your loved ones during the COVID-19 outbreak. Through our close-knit AFSP family in communities across the country, we will get through this together. You are not alone.

The safety and health of our community is our top priority. Therefore, with your well-being in mind, we have decided not to host an in-person Overnight Walk on June 20.

In keeping with the magic of The Overnight, we will be hosting the first Virtual Overnight Experience this June to continue to honor loved ones we've lost to suicide and to support those who are struggling. We will stay connected during this time and lift each other up, just as we would have done in person.

Join thousands who understand suicide's impact. Participate with us, start a conversation, and raise needed funds for suicide prevention.

About AFSP

AFSP’s mission is to save lives and bring hope to those affected by suicide. We create a culture that’s smart about mental health through education and community programs, develop suicide prevention through research and advocacy, and provide support for those affected by suicide.

Why We Walk

Once a year, thousands join together to walk through the night to fight suicide. The connections people make last a lifetime, and the funds you raise will save lives.

The Experience

As you walk over 16 miles from dusk till dawn, you'll find support and understanding in a community of others affected by suicide. Together, we will help put a stop to this leading cause of death.
