Pip's Corner

When I was little, I always dreamed of having a dog. Unfortunately, I was the only one in my family who wanted a furry friend. But when I was struggling with mental health conditions in college, my mom made me a remarkable promise: upon graduation, she would give me a dog as her present to me. Sure enough, she kept her word, and Pippin (named after the hobbit, not Scotty Pippen nor the musical) came into my life in August 2018.

Pippin has made a significant impact on my recovery. His unconditional love and excitement brightens every day, and he has licked many tears off my face. Perhaps the best part of Pippin joining my family has been seeing how quickly my parents and sister have fallen in love with him. They were not animal lovers before Pip, but they are totally reformed and see him as a member of our family. Pip has brought so much joy into our lives.
